Papakowhai Home & School Committee: BBQ Time... February 18th

"Do what you can, when you can!" is our motto.

The main purpose of the Papakowhai Home School Committee is to enhance a sense of community in the school but we also fundraise for school projects. For example, last year funds raised by the Home School Committee were used to purchase books for the recently renovated school library. Each year, money raised by the Committee buys books for the Year 8 leavers and subsidises the school magazine for all students.

The Home School Committee meets once a month for approximately an hour. We organise events such as family BBQs, a school disco and a Quiz Night.

We always need help, whether it be by coming to Committee Meetings or by simply volunteering an hour or so of your time to help out at individual events.

If you are new to the school, the Home School Committee could be a great way to get to know others in the community.
